While celebrities are revolutionizing some of the gateways to the world with their creations, Donatella Versace is not enough.
In a recent interview, said the designer to the stars who design your clothes, like Madonna and Victoria Beckham glamor they need to be considered true members of the guild.
"I think it's more a matter of marketing. Some of these collections are for a cheaper fashion mass market. I do not think there is creativity there, " Donatella said under the 2011 launch of the collection of your company.
The designer said he was not afraid of competition from celebrities. "The music stars wear Versace," he said.
Almost 20 years since he created his first collection, Versace said that the shimmering world of celebrity life can be a weak source of inspiration for the creative process.
"You live among real things, you need as much information as possible," he said. The fashion house, whose gowns have been worn by film star Drew Barrymore and singers Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera has gone a major restructuring after nearly bankrupt in 2004.
Versace, who took over as creative director after his brother and founder, Gianni, was murdered in 1997, said it is on track to make profits this year, after enduring the global financial crisis in 2009.
